This is a nice set for the price. I didn't want to spend a couple hundred dollars on a coffee table set with teenagers in the house, yet still wanted a nice set. this fit the bill perfectly. My only complaint is it took 3 weeks to arrive!!! It came in good packaging with no damage/scratches. i would but again.
Don't be discouraged from buying furniture online!,

I'm a grad student in a small town where I don't need a car to get around (which means I don't own one). However, I needed some furniture for my new apartment, so I looked into amazon so I could get it delivered to my house. I was nervous because I saw some really bad reviews for similar products and that is usually how I make my purchasing decisions.
HOWEVER, my experience so far has been entirely positive. Every piece of furniture I've ordered here has been VERY well packaged. In fact, it is so well packed that opening the box and removing the furniture from the bubblewrap takes way more time than the assembly, which I was able to do easily.
Yes, this set is made of particle board. Regardless of the material, with the addition of this set, I have a pretty swanky looking apartment for a student. It looks exactly like it does in the picture and I'm so happy with my purchase that I plan on buying the matching sofa table ASAP.
