I orderered this unit for my 42" flattie. It was shipped very quickly, which was great. On its arrival, however, I made the following observations: the unit had numerous scratches (some large) and spotting on it, there were a few screws missing, the assembly was more complex than you'd think looking at the picture, and the assembly instructions were useless. While we were putting the unit together we found some of the veneer sort of flaking off and what was essentially press-board underneath. Also, when it's all set up, the electrical cord hangs straight down and is visible behind the table. We had to use some plumbers tape to conceal the cord behind the back panel or the visual beauty and concept of the table is ruined. (The product description says to use a standard bulb, but doesn't mention that any wattage over 15 or 20 might burn a hole right thru the top of the table). It would have been nice if they'd included wood plugs for the screw holes which are kind of gaping...Read more

Ordered this to hold my 47" LED TV as it had the right look for that part of the room. The installation instructions are pretty bad. The provided screws and plastic receptacles were definitely barely sufficient to hold this table together but not enough to have it survive a solid bump while holding a TV. The wood had various scratches and 3 unpainted/stained bare wood lines on the edges. One of the horizontal supports for the lower platform was warped enough to require additional drill holes and screws to attach it to the bottom plate and help keep it straight. This being said with some touch up and a lot of additional work to drill more lead holes for screws to provide additional bracing I am now comfortable putting my TV atop it. The picture is also a little misleading ... the top is perfectly flat and rectangular (which is good) but there are no guide holes or connectors beneath it for the wire that leads to the internal light bulb socket leaving the wire to hang straight down from...Read more
