4D Concepts Sofa Table with Slate Top, Metal/ Slate

Not a bad table, fit the bill, arrived well packaged but banged up a bit. Went together without any problems and looks as expected. Just remember to turn the cross members away from the front as they have holes for use in some other design. The slate inlay is _very_ thin in places and chipped off in transit. Definitely not worth the effort to return. Recovered most of the wafer thin chips and glued them in place, covered about half the area which wasn't much to be begin with, maybe half a square inch and really unnoticeable being along the rear edge in use. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another as the price is right for what you get.

My wife and i decided to purchase this table because of it's color pattern and we wished to balance the enegry in our home.(You know wood and metal stone.)Well when we opened the box everything seemed to be okay. Until we got to the table top.The center pieces were broken. We decided to keep it and try to use it regardless because sending it back for a replacement would be more expensive. I purchased this table in spite of a few reviews that were unsavory. But i advise anyone who decides to purchase this table. DO NOT. It's evident that they do not tale special care in packaging or shipping. Stay away from ths purchase.

We are very pleased with our puchase. The top is true slate and very sturdy. It works well with our existing living room decor. Overall you can't beat it for the price.
