Assembly of this table is trickier than it need be because all of the fasteners are not the same length, and also because the attachment between the pedestal and tabletop is made from pressed paper - not real wood. Read the instructions very carefully and do not use the 50 mm long screws in the locations meant for the 40 mm long screws or you will be very sorry, as the threaded fittings in the tabletop will pull out of their mounts, which are in pressed paper rather than wood.

The pressed paper parts make me concerned that the life of this table may be very short. It looks like a much higher quality piece of furniture than it is underneath. So be careful during assembly. This is also not a piece of furniture which is sturdy enough that you can let your kids hang onto the edge. The top may pull right off, spilling the top and anything on it on your children.

The table arrived in perfect condition. The protective packaging was amazing. The table was easy to assemble. The proportions are perfect, and the size is just right for next to a sofa. The top has a beautiful subtle design-which you can't see on line.
It is a great buy too. I had spent a great deal of time trying to find a round pedestal table,that was not too tall or too big, and I am thrilled with this one.

This is a high quality end table that you could easily spend $200 or more. With the exception of the less than environmental packaging (to prevent damage) I would definitely shop here again.
