These tables look great and are certainly worth the price, and in the end makes an excellent end table for a recliner or couch.

*** The problem described below is VERY easily fixed when assembling the table ***

However, I had to withhold 1 stars because of the poor stability. After I assembled the table I noticed that the top surface felt loose and had a lot of movement. I double checked all my screws and pegs and they were all seated securely, the problem is that it uses a combination of a screw and a wooden peg to secure the top to the base. The peg is on top and no matter how tightly you seat the screw the peg acts as a rocker.

The easy fix is a small L shaped bracket (you can get 4 of these for $2 at Lowes) attached under the table between the arms that support the table top. Fix adds an additional 5 mins to the assembly, and is very easy, but I still felt as though the product should be able to stand on it's own merit for a 5 star rating...Read more

This product is pretty much what I expected. Nice table for the price. Would have liked the top to be more secure, but all in all it's just like it is described. I currently am using it to the side of the sofa and it works great for a small netbook, food tray, books or whatever you'd like.
