The table had red paint on it. I didn't return it because my husband didn't want to put another together again and it was also for my beach house. I contacted Amazon and they offered credit or return and when I told them I wasn't returning it they didn't do anything. I purchase from Amazon pretty regularly but were disappointed that they contacted me, but then never responded.
