this is a nice table. I bought 2 of them and have them sitting against the wall on either side of my home theatre system. they're a bit darker, maybe a few shades from the picture than what i expected (closer to a cappoccino finish but still reddish). its ok tho, its not a deal breaker. you'll have to assemble the legs to the top section wich is very easy, just a few screws. legs and bottom of the top section made of solid wood but i think the very top board is made of particle board, but i may be wrong because its hard to tell thru the finish. the only reason that i think its particle board is because during assembly i was looking at the underneath of the top section and noticed it looked like that. the bottom is also covered in the varnish, so its hard to tell. still looks very nice, and the finish is great looking.

The half moon table is elegant and sturdy; the finish is beatiful. However, the legs are VERY slender. They appear to be somewhat hefty in the photo, but in reality are about the diameter of a broom handle. I had intended to place a very heavy planter on top, but decided not to do that, as it looked top-heavy. But the table does look great and, being so small, can be used in many different places.

Product pictured is much more of a "cherry" color. Item delivered was very dark and did not match other cherry furniture it was purchased to go with.
