Because of the quality of the materials used int his end table, I wanted to knock this down a notch or two. But then I though, for $50, what exactly should I/you be expecting? For the price, this product is fantastic.

The box that this shipped in arrived undamaged and packed very well. The Styrofoam in the box was of very low quality, but I can't complain because nothing was damaged in any way. The stand came in six pieces, which was perfect to me. Two legs, two sides, and two panes of glass for the top and bottom.

The material of the metal is some kind of cheap hollowed-out metal that nonetheless looks nice, and is sturdy enough, unless you're planning on putting something extremely heavy on it. I wouldn't recommend putting anything of substantive weight on either the top or bottom, as the glass is not terribly thick. However, for most people, any kind of lamp you can fit on the narrow top surface will be totally fine.

I guess my short description would be cheap. The picture shows the table setting beside a leather couch in a living room. Definitely not living room quality. It looks and feels like a cheap table you might put out on a patio. If I saw it in a store before buying, I would maybe pay $15 or $20 for it. I cannot believe I wasted $50 on it. The frame is very then material and it just does not appear as big as it looks in the picture.
