Syrah End Table with Frosted Glass, Shelf

Comment: Nice table, solid wood, attractive, good price, fairly easy to assemble. I added a little felt under the glass panels as it would rattle a bit if someone set anything down on the glass.

Comment: I bought this end table to match the hall table of the same design and after having trouble with the cams (two missing) with the hall table I was hoping for better luck with the end table. The cams worked fine but one of the frosted glass would not fit as it was a bit to long but not much but still couldn't get it into either of the places for it no matter how I turned it. I called the company and they said they would replace it but had to send the forms in which by the time I got the glass back it would be about 3 weeks. I got the idea that just maybe the glass in the hall table might be the same size and maybe by switching them around something would fit. I took one out of the hall table and put it in the end table and it fit perfectly and then took the one from the end table that was a tad to long and put it in the hall table and it went in OK so I solved my own problem by playing musical glass. So it worked for me but if I hadn't had the hall table things would have been different and I would be waiting for three weeks to get a piece that fit. All in all a nice table but for the little problems that shouldn't happen.

Comment: The cam locks used to hold the legs to the lower shelf are flimsy, but held up to being tightened (unlike the ones on the other Winsome product I bought). The glass insets wobble and rattle slightly in their slots, and I found a tiny dab of silicone putty in two corners helped that tremendously. Construction is fairly simple; some of the bolts are hard to get placed properly. The overall visual effect is pleasing if you don't make a point of going over it carefully, looking for the fit and finish problems. It's wood, no particleboard, which is something. Note that when they say all tools are included, they don't mean it. Have screwdrivers handy.

To get 4 stars, they should improve the directions with a few words, do a better job on the finish, and not promise to provide all tools unless they mean it. For five stars, use tougher wood and lower the price.

I can't say I'm displeased, and it's clearly well above the particleboard junk you sometimes find for not much less. Just don't expect it to be anything more than it is, a inexpensive product in a nice color. I like the fact that a lamp on this table will shine enough light through the frosted glass insets to find things on the lower shelf.

Not recommended for houses with small children - if the table goes over, the glass will flop out and you'll have shattered glass everywhere.

Comment: I bought this table because I purchased the coffee table for my new apartment. It isn't all solid wood, there is some mdf involved but it went together in under ten minutes, looks fantastic and was an unbeatable price. The bottom shelf doesn't line up perfectly, but it looks good enough for the price.

Comment: I love these tables. The price was great and the tables look stunning in my home. One thing I have to say is only buy theses tables directly from Amazon. I purchased them through AAA Discounts and they were damaged beyond belief. I purchased 4 of these tables through Amazon and they were great.
