I was looking for a nice thin side table with a small footprint for my living room. I already have a couple of full size end tables and just needed a supplement. It was surprisingly difficult to find such an item at a reasonable. That is until I stumbled upon this.
It is perfect for the side of your couch to set a drink or ashtray on. It looks stylish and expensive. As for the reviews that say it is flimsy...ignore them. This is a small side table designed to carry only a couple of light weight items. It does this very well. If you need a full size end table...then look elsewhere.
It is quite sturdy and looks great. I'm picking up another.

This is a very nice looking table, but don't plan on putting anything heavy on it. While the base is weighted, it will be pretty unstable for anything more than a few small items.

I just received the umbra after a week of placing the order.
It's not quite what I expected, the rod is very slim almost
the width of a finger and the glass is quite thin too. It's not
so bad that it will tip over but definitely for very small things.
I ended up keeping because I needed something very minimal
to put some small plant on. but would not recommend if you want
something sturdy. and really only good for 2 drinks but even then
wouldn't feel comfortable. would of been an awesome design if
it was better made with thicker rod and thicker glass...
