I actually received two deliveries for the table. The first box looked like a return since it was missing much of the internal padding and wrapping, and pieces were damaged by knocking together in transit. I returned it to Amazon, who provided a pickup by UPS and a replacement. The replacement came properly packed.

I just put the table together by myself today, so it is possible to do that, though you will want to use braces and clamps to hold the shelves at the correct height to prevent cracking the corners. The table is quite heavy since it is solid wood. It goes together with heavy screws and bolts, not cam locks and nails. The directions are pretty straightforward. You will not need a screwdriver as the instructions claim, but you will want a wrench for the bolts. This product is exactly what it appears to be. It was relatively simple to put together; It looks great as a wine rack and console table - we use it as both in our eat-in kitchen. It holds 27 bottles on the slats, not 30 but you need good size bottles as very skinny bottles will possibly fall through the slats. All in all definately worth the money and looks great with a dark wood finish!

Very pleased with the item. It is beautiful and I have already received many compliments. The only complaint is that there is no detail on the table like the picture shows but once it arrived I think I prefer it without the detail. Difficult to get together but if you take the time and do it correctly it is very good quality.
